Busy Me
I used to blog everyday this past few months but just recently, another responsibility was given to me. This is just actually an every Tuesday close of New York business thing but I have to go through training and familiarization so I had my eyes on it. The demo checks was also given to me. I've got two new stuff on my shoulders now and I am a one-woman team so I really have to make sure I understand before US can let go. I don't want to bug them late at night because I don't know what to do. tsk tsk.
Today, I am just dropping by to say Hi! Its not all the time I see myself busy so I am loving this. Makes my brain run again. :)
See you when I can...
God bless.

A psychic octopus
Have you heard of Octopus Paul? Well, I first heard or known of him when I saw him featured in Channel News Asia and a headline in xinMSN. It says, he is retiring? I was like, huh? I googled about him and found interesting information.
According to WIKI,
Paul (purportedly hatched January 2008) is a common octopus living in a tank at a Sea Life Centre in Oberhausen, Germany. Paul became internationally famous for correctly "predicting" the winner of Germany's seven matches at the 2010 World Cup, as well as the final.
During the divinations, Paul was presented with two boxes containing food in the form of a mussel, each box marked on the outside with the flag of a national football team in an upcoming match. He chose the box with the flag of the winning team in four of Germany's six Euro 2008 matches, and in all seven of their matches in the 2010 World Cup. He correctly predicted a win for Spain against the Netherlands in the World Cup final on 11 July by eating the mussel in the box with the Spanish flag on it.[2] His predictions were 100% (8/8) correct for the 2010 World Cup and 86% (12/14) correct overall. Paul was retired after the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The keeper at the aquarium claims that Paul wasn't the octopus which predicted the results for the 2008 UEFA European Football Championships, which would give him 100% accuracy overall.[3]
Please visit this if you want more, PAUL @ Wiki
And according to the http://www.dailymail.co.uk
"He's the world's greatest tipster, with a faultless record of predicting winners at the World Cup in South Africa.
But be warned, if you're after a tip for the final, you can't have a word in his shell. That's because Paul the psychic Octopus, like many molluscs, doesn't have a shell.
Paul, who resides at the Aquarium Sea Life Centre in Oberhausen, has become a celebrity in Germany after predicting victories over Australia, Ghana, England and Argentina."

Weekend buys
Saturday night, I had the most painful back ache in my life - I just dropped and cried, talked to Hershey how she needs to ride a stroller now. The pain was due to the fact that I carried her whiles she's sleeping, standing for almost 30 minutes waiting for the bus. I think she was shocked with me so she cried too while wiping my tears. The next morning when she woke up, she told me, "Mommy, buy tayo stroller. Ride Hershey!" I was very happy so after our breakfast we headed to the nearest mall. I am buying a new potty chair for her too because the one she's been using is not dependable, it tips over when Hershey leans on it.
We checked the first store and she likes this pink Evenflo stroller but I thought I am buying Quinny Zapp so we're off to the other mall.
But finally settled for this... Same as what she had a year ago... Cosco umbrella type stroller from ToysRUs. Quinny zapp is not avail in the mall, thank God. yey! :)
And bought her new potty chair... :)
No weekend buys for myself or for hubby. For my lovely readers, I hope you enjoyed your weekend and had a little shopping for yoursel! :)

Your Words Carry Power!
Your Words Carry Power!
Ecclesiastes 8:4
4Where the word of a king is, there is power…
In Bible times, a king’s word carried tremendous power. What he decreed would come to pass. It would be done. For example, if he said, “Raise the taxes,” the taxes would be raised.
Do you know that we are kings? The Bible tells us that Jesus has washed us from our sins with His blood and made us kings. (Revelation 1:5–6) And as kings in Christ, our words carry power too.
When we place our hands on a sick person and say, “Be healed,” the person is healed. When we lay hands on our children and say, “Be blessed,” our children are blessed. There is power in our words because they are the words of kings!
When I was a young Christian in my teens, I wanted to practice what I had learnt about the power of my words. There was this particular plant near my home and whenever I passed by it, I would say to it, “Be cursed in Jesus’ name!”
Many days passed. And I will never forget the day when I noticed that the leaves of the plant had turned brown! You may want to try this at home with your potted plants, but bless them instead!
Since our words carry power, can you imagine the harm we do when we say to our loved ones things like, “You are always so careless”, “You are good for nothing” or “You are so stupid”? We are cursing them!
The devil is happy when you use the power of your words against yourself and your loved ones. He wants to see you defeated. So instead of saying, “I am always short of money,” say, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1) Instead of saying, “I am so useless. I can’t do anything,” start saying, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
Beloved, remember that as a king, what you say will come to pass because where the word of a king is, there is power. So learn to say what God says about you in His Word and see His promises come to pass in your life

Need a new pram for Hershey
We were out these past few days, Saturday -Monday we were around Singapore. It was really tiring because aside from being a commuter, we also have to carry the 16.5 kgs baby when we are just on our foot, walking. She sometimes doesn't like to walk unless you tell her to run, Daddy is chasing! LOL. But adults can't really all the time in public, right? And she doesn't want her nanny to carry her, so it's really only me or her dad. *sigh*
So I talked to my daughter, telling her she's so heavy, mom and dad's arms feel numbed most of the time when we carry her so she must consider riding on a pram again. I am seriously thinking through this as she also had a fever since last night, i think because she was also exhausted and got sick when we got home. Atleast if she's on a pram, she can sit down comfortably or sleep if she likes (but sleeping on a pram is not her thing)
Hershey had used 3 prams/strollers so far. The first one is a Combi Machanacal, an orange pram given by my very good friend, Princess but unfortunately we lost it- left it in the cab.
Before we lost the Combi, I bought her an umbrella type Cosco stroller from Toys R Us. It was very light weight. It was a really an ideal stroller until we left it on the cab again.
And again before we lost the umbrella stroller, Hershey had her very famous to most of my friends, my super la-love Quinny Buzz. :) This is the only pram she can sleep on. But unfortunately again, I sold it after 5 months usage because she doesn't want to ride on it anymore. Just that, one day, she doesn't want it at all. It was really sad to let go and sell it more than half the price.
Now, I'm contemplating on buying another one. We looked for one yesterday but most of the prams just hold kids up to 40 lbs and Hershey is almost 17kgs now.
We were at Mums&Babes yesterday and I saw the below,
Looks nice, right? :) My husband told H to not try to say yes when I asked her if she wants it because no doubt, she'll gonna ride home with it. LOL. Good thing, there was something that stopped me, problem is, it can only hold kids up to 40 lbs else you have to upgrade the tires. Tsk! Hassle!
Or maybe Zapp 2009? *Sigh* Most of the pram we checked are only ideal for children 40 lbs. That's not fair! But before I buy anything, I have to consult first the one who'll ride on it if she likes it or not. She already said yes, so let's see.
I pray that the Lord will show me the best pram for the little one. Sooonnn....

GT: Loving my Bod
Okay, so like other sisters, I am participating this week's GT, I love my Body.
Let's start with my behind. Many people said my best asset is my BUTT but sometimes I feel shy because it's bigger than normal. LOL
Singapore 2004
Also my legs, I dont know why but I receive a lot of compliments for it. I remember years ago at Kodak Cubao, the store owner told my husband (my boyfriend then) that he is lucky to have a girlfriend who has sexy legs. He can flaunt me to anyone. I feel good but felt bad at the same time. So that's it? My legs? Grrr.
2007 Pic
Another is my feet. :) They say I make sandals/open shoes look nice because I have nice feet. Aawww! LOL. I have an admirer when I was in college (both of us working part time in Mcdonalds) who loves touching my feet and even kissing it. LOL. Weird.
Also, thanks for my mom for sharing with me a body with curve. Before I gave birth my body stat is 34-25-35. Then eventually 35-28-37. LOL But still my waist is narrow. I remember a friend, MHAI, who always says, "Mabuti pa to si HAPI kasi kahit malaki tiyan pero may bewang, sexy pa din tignan!" LOL
Ayoko na! :) Alright so that's all - I would love to stop now before I mention every part of my body, because I feel good about them all except my tummy! har har
PS: these are the photos available now. I will try to update the pics with the recent ones. :) to give justice! LOL
