Our Wedding Anniversary

I've been wanting to blog again but I just cannot find the best topic to discuss here. Losing topics, losing subject, losing the urge in blogging. Well, I hope not and to make sure I am still in the loop in the blogosphere, I am writing a piece today.

2 weeks ago, hubby and I  celebrated our wedding anniversary. We planned to go out of the country, get the nearest and the cheapest travel deal, but my college best friend from New Zealand together with her family will be in Singapore for a few hours. Yes, just a few hours. They are bound to the PH but their connecting flight will be in the next 12 hours so we thought of just staying in the city and meet them for dinner. We stayed at Siloso Beach Resort in Sentosa. I chose this hotel because it is very near Sentosa beach. Aside from the fact that it's cheaper compare to other hotels around it, it also has a nice swimming pool, surrounded with trees. It feels like you are in a forest. :) And since we have some foreigners joining us, Sentosa is a hot spot so a best place for people just taking a peek of Singapore.

VIEW FROM OUR ROOM
After settling down we went out to get some fresh air. My daughter loved it sooo much.

Marvin, Donna and Chloe went straight to our hotel after clearing immigration stuff.
IM OBVIOUSLY NOT TOO HAPPY :)

SUPER CUTE CHLOE WITH SUPER CUTE ATE HERSHEY

US :)
My hubby agreed that it was one of the best anniversary celebrations we had. Short time but special. Donna is not only a friend, she actually was the reason why Marvin C became my boyfriend and eventually became my husband. So she and her family will always be special. :)

I pray that the Lord continue to be with us, bless our families always.

To my husband on our anniversary, " I will be true to the promise I have made. To you and to the One who gave you to me. " I love you.

Psalm 91

I am posting this so I won't forget it. I will hold this in my heart - for as long as I have my eyes on you, you are my refuge.

   9 If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,”
   and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
   no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
   to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
   so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
   you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

   14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him;
   I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
   I will be with him in trouble,
   I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
   and show him my salvation.”

You are my refuge, no harm will overtake me. I am very well protected. And this includes my family. We are all under your care. No disaster, nothing. For you have your angel guarding me. Anywhere we go, whatever we do.

You will protect me for I acknowledge your name. You are Jesus. I will call unto you and you will answer me. Like you always do every time. With long life, you satisfy me. You will provide our needs and even give us more than what we deserve.

Amen

At Oprah's event, He is the VIP

So i saw this from one of the posts in Facebook. I was quick to check and thank God it didn't disappointed me.

As per Youtube,

This was part 5 of a 5-part series of a 3-day event that Oprah hosted in order to honor the Black Female "Legends" in which she incorporated the "Young Uns" (the next generation of Black Female power houses).

Part 5 is this segment capturing the spontaneous Gospel music, the other segments capture the rest of the glamorous, over-the-top event. Oprah sure knows how to host an event and demonstrated righteous honor.

Personally, I believe that God has has been really gracious giving the black men and women the talent in singing. They got it, no question. Bagay na bagay sa kanila. =)It's only them who can do it that way - perfectly.

The VIP is Him. The most important guest was His presence. He deserves all the glory and honor.

Hope all my readers, followers and lurkers will be blessed with the video.

Blessings ♥
