Baby # 2

I was inspired to blog about having a baby after reading Niko's entry about her pregnancy! Before anything else, again, congratulations Niko!

Nobody knows yet (many will now) but hubby and I are contemplating on having our 2nd child lately and we are already 50% decided. hehehe There are just factors that we are considering, topping the list is our finances - budget wise although we can afford but having another child would affect our expenses. The other night my dear husband was counting the months when I give birth if I'll get pregnant March then it's December, he said that surely we will just be at home on his birthday or on Christmas if so. It's just that we are planning to visit South Korea on his birthday this November but if the baby is coming this year or early next, then we have to move our plan. Are we selfish in that case? Uhmmm... Well... I dono.

Hershey is also a bit uncomfortable about this being a big sister thing. She doesn't want us to call her ate. Like the other night I told her, Ate Hershey will sleep now and she cried (fake, arte lang) saying, "I don't want Ate Hershey! Call me Baby, mom!" LOL. When we mention about having a baby boy, she always says that the baby will sleep on the other room while Hershey stays with us. Sigh. But having another baby would also give the best effect to Hershey. I say so because Hershey has an attitude of being a brat most of the time so many have said that if she get to have a little brother or sister, she will be more responsible. I'd like to believe that.

Husband dear is really serious to have another child, he says so "we're a real family!" LOL. I asked him to explain but his statement but he couldn't. haha. Well, for me if not this year, next year would also be fine as I don't want to get pregnant when I am already 30 years old. So we can retire early. :)

So I am hoping for the best, whenever the next baby comes. I know the Lord will make the timing perfect as He makes all things beautiful in His time.

A little Update from the not so active blogger

I've been on and off blogging these past weeks. I just can't actually think of a good topic to discuss to - equals no post. My daughter's birthday party preparation and in laws coming over for vacation have occupied my mind and my daily activities. I could have blog about it, I tried to, made drafts but eventually deleted them. Parang wala lang simula at katapusan mga gawa ko.

So the party was over and as I've posted on my  little update, it was successful. well, the kids primarily enjoyed. My daughter enjoyed. She loves all her gifts and plans her next party next year. My husband says we will give her a party on her 4th but I'm thinking twice. I might plan to go abroad instead.

Last Friday boss celebrated his birthday with us, a wine for him. Cheers! I finish the half full glass of white wine. Love it. Loved the feeling that I felt belonged again because I never attend dinner parties since. I am just not comfortable.

Today, I am invited for a dinner again. I want to join them. I will try my best to join them tonight. I must be socially active, I know but I am very very sleepy. I was tired from yesterday (sunday) activities.

Whatever it brings, God's will be done.

Matthew 24

It has been disastrous for Japan this past few days. Their country being hit by a massive 8.8 magnitude earthquake. When I heard about the news, I had goosebumps. I felt sad. I worry then I thought, we are nearing the end times. It's that simple. I told my husband we need to pray fervently for Japan, the nature's wrath victims, the children, the old people, people who are away from their families. We will all pray for them. He took his guitar and the songbook, he played, I sing. After an hour of praising and worshiping the Lord, we felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. We took the advantage and ask Him to show His loving mercy to the country.

It was also last week when the middle east were counting dead bodies because of their political turmoil. Oil prices are going up because of this middle east crisis. And the domino effect.

Part of me is excited. To those who are familiar with the Bible, we may think that this is end times. Just read this:

Matthew 24

1And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8All these are the beginning of sorrows.

So what we do is pray that Japan will get to know the true God. That they will be humble enough to ask the Lord to save them and acknowledge Him.

We will not be in this world long enough. Sooner or later, we will leave our so called earth. It is best to know where we are going...
