Cough vs water + Vitamin C


I have a cough for few days now. I am not sure if this is just a Chinese new year effect but started during my holiday off.  It has been raining these past few days in Singapore plus our air conditioning unit is turned on every night, when it is already cold outside. So it must be the weather. Started with the usual runny nose. Now I am back in the office still coughing sometimes. I don't want to visit the doctor because surely they will again give me loads of medicine to take. So I am on my self heal process or going through natural way to heal.

For days now I am into water therapy. I drink lots of water to clear my throat and refresh myself. I purchased Vicks lozenges which I only take whenever I feel a discomfort in the throat - when it is itchy. I am also religiously taking my vitamin C, well, I wish I should even I don't have colds, from 500 mg each day, I made it 1000mg. :)

So far all these have lessen my coughing, thank God. I really don't have plans taking cough syrup or worst anti-biotic but definitely will do if it is really needed and while I see myself reacting and showing good development with just water and vitamin C, I think I'll just continue with it.
