Our 5th Wedding Anniversary at Universal Studios Singapore

We were totally unprepared for our wedding anniversary celebration this year. What happened last year was recorded here. It was only few days before the date when I remembered its nearing. I tried to file a leave of absence but unfortunately was denied so we dont have a choice but to stay in town and do the usual anniversary things couple do. :) Spa? Dinner? Staycation in a hotel? Karaoke? Hmmmm... When I asked the dear husband, he said its up to me but added, he thinks it is about time to check out USS.

You see, I never really thought of going inside USS. We occasionally visit Sentosa and have our pictures taken at RWS and the Universal Studios globe outside, but never really considered experiencing USS. I think the ticket is expensive but every year we go out of the country and visit some other amusement parks in Asia. I'm not too excited and in a hurry to see it, it's just in Singapore anyway. We invited few friends, booked together with our travel/gimik buddies and it's confirmed - We will be celebrating our wedding anniversary at the USS Singapore. Must be fun! Unfortunately, on the day itself, my kumareng Rocky canceled because of work reason. That's sad but we understand. Til next time. :)

HERSHEY WAS KISSED BY BETTY BOOP
After spending less than 8 hours at USS, my verdict, 6/10 overall enjoyment. In short, so so. :) sorry for the fans but I am no fan to adrenalin riser rides. I'm no thrill seeker. I felt tired hiding and closing my eyes just every time. I don't like being surprised, I don't like being scared... Frankenstein went infront of me and the first thing that came to my mind was to punch him but I felt Hershey pulling me away from Franky. When the monster was gone, Hershey tried to calm herself saying that F is a good guy, he's a friend of the chipmunks. Really? LOL.

We were just half way through the fan parks and Hershey wants to go home already. hahaha. I never heard her say this in Disneyland or in Everland in Seoul before. Bought some souvenirs, watched the parade and out before 7PM. If I would be ask if I want to go back again, it depends but this is not something I would wish to go back to.

It was tiring but a nice experience for the 3 of us. Marvin rode the Galactica Cylon I think 100x times. Hahaha. Single rider = express lane. :)Thank you Lord for blessing our marriage. Glory to you for a happy family. — in Honeyversary at USS <3 .="." p="p">

Our Wedding Anniversary

I've been wanting to blog again but I just cannot find the best topic to discuss here. Losing topics, losing subject, losing the urge in blogging. Well, I hope not and to make sure I am still in the loop in the blogosphere, I am writing a piece today.

2 weeks ago, hubby and I  celebrated our wedding anniversary. We planned to go out of the country, get the nearest and the cheapest travel deal, but my college best friend from New Zealand together with her family will be in Singapore for a few hours. Yes, just a few hours. They are bound to the PH but their connecting flight will be in the next 12 hours so we thought of just staying in the city and meet them for dinner. We stayed at Siloso Beach Resort in Sentosa. I chose this hotel because it is very near Sentosa beach. Aside from the fact that it's cheaper compare to other hotels around it, it also has a nice swimming pool, surrounded with trees. It feels like you are in a forest. :) And since we have some foreigners joining us, Sentosa is a hot spot so a best place for people just taking a peek of Singapore.

ENTRANCE
THE POOL. PLS IGNORE THE DATE :)

VIEW FROM OUR ROOM
After settling down we went out to get some fresh air. My daughter loved it sooo much.

Marvin, Donna and Chloe went straight to our hotel after clearing immigration stuff.
IM OBVIOUSLY NOT TOO HAPPY :)

SUPER CUTE CHLOE WITH SUPER CUTE ATE HERSHEY

US :)
My hubby agreed that it was one of the best anniversary celebrations we had. Short time but special. Donna is not only a friend, she actually was the reason why Marvin C became my boyfriend and eventually became my husband. So she and her family will always be special. :)

I pray that the Lord continue to be with us, bless our families always.

To my husband on our anniversary, " I will be true to the promise I have made. To you and to the One who gave you to me. " I love you.

I got a new watch from hubby, im happy!

Today, I am so happy wearing my husband's gift to me. :) Christmas of 2010, he gave me a Swatch watch in old rose but after a week of using it, the crystal cracked. He returned it to Swatch for replacement but they said they don't have replacement for the crystal alone so I didn't have a choice. I didn't mind using it even though the crack is visible and gets bigger each time.

Until I mentioned to him that I want another watch. I want to have a nicer one, cheap but chic and $100 worth should be okay so I guess we are looking into a SWATCH watch again. I don't mind getting a swatch watch again - their designs are hip and so SWATCH anyway. Just like these different colors below. I want to get the red one soon, promise! :) But that is another story.

I met up with him yesterday after work, it was the 31st, pay day, yeah! :) I choose two designs from this brand but I fell in love with the 2nd one when I tried it - I just feel it talks so much about me. I love it. Even if it is more than the budget, without further ado, he paid for it. He said he heard a very loud cash register sound right after swiping the ATM. LOL.

At A Glance:  The perfect accessory for any outfit. This GUESS watch features a round goldtone (mine is silver) mixed-metal case and three interchangeable croc-embossed leather straps in black, pink and white. Swarovski crystal-accented bezel. White dial with Swarovski crystal-accented stylized numerals and logo mrwatch.com
I am using the pink strap today. <3

Thanks again, my labs. :)

GT: Loving relationship with Hubby

GT Thursday.

What is my 2011 resolution when it comes to my relationship specifically with hubby?

Well there are things that I need to change. I think I am becoming his nightmare sometimes, I sometimes NAG. :( You can't blame me, he just doesn't listen! LOL

I should be careful  with what I say especially when we fight. I sometimes tend to say hurtful words without thinking of the implication. That is just so bad.

I should not share with the big expenses. My husband's hobby sometimes take a big part of our budget - he buys whatever he thinks he needs especially when it comes to his guitar playing. I am making this a reason to buy what I love as well. This adds up to non sense expenses.

It is easy to talk with hubby in terms of family matter. He is an ideal family man. Especially when it involves our daughter, he never hesitates.

I think I should also love him more. Continue to take care of him. See to it he eats healthy. Jog with him. Enjoy his music.Thank him for loving me back, as much as I expect it. Thank him for not chaging, he is still the sweetest, he still spoil me whenever he can.

I'm sure it will be easy as long as I want to have a better relationship with him. He is in the Philippines today ti Sunday to attend a wedding. I already missed him.

GT: With your special one

Hey it's GT time! :) Joining the girls again on this week's topic, Going with your special someone.

I always miss my husband. Even if we are just in the house, I always want him to sit beside me while I'm watching my favorite telenovela, now it is Imortal, or while I am playing with our child, eating or just simply doing nothing and relaxing in bed. Gusto ko sya lagi inaasar! :) So wherever he goes I want to be with him as much as possible and like other sissies, when you have a child, it will be plus the kid which makes it more fun.

This is us having our date at Seoul Garden, our favorite. :)We love buffet dining and SG is one which tops our lists.

And us again meeting during our lunch break at Burger King. Our office is just one train stop away so we sometimes meet to have a date.♥ We both love eating! We love grilled patties! :)
And roaming around the city with H. ♥

And that's him with the little one watching Disney On Ice at Singapore Indoor stadium.

I'm out of funds!

I can't believe I'm out of funds! waaaah. I  have been spending too much to satisfy my wants and now I have no enough funds for Christmas shopping. You see, I am preparing three balikbayan medium size boxes to send to the Philippines. Few months back I am planning to give big gifts to our families but it seems impossible now.

There are just too many expenses, too many things I want to buy and I don't want to list them down, I might just feel frustrated. My mom's birthday is coming up, 15th Nov. Instead of arranging a family dinner in a 4 star hotel in the province, I might just ask them to celebrate as usual. I ordered a nice fondant cake for mom! oh noooo!!! My husband's birthday is on the 14th of this month - well, this man is not that hard to please, give him something for his guitar playing and he'll be happy. I already bought him an advance gift, RAT, a guitar effect. I was originally planning to give him a study Bible, but that would cost 50sgd at least. Expensive already!

What should I do now? If only my tummy's excess fat is sell-able. LOL I'm serious although I laugh about the idea. Urgggh!

Money, rain on me!

Hubby and I had a movie date yesterday, we watched the third film of the Twilight Saga, Eclipse. I was excited ofcourse, we were suppose to watch the last full show, tonight, Friday but because of my friends bombarding me with their FB status on Eclipse, the plan changed - booked 2 tickets online instead for Thursday afternoon viewing. :) You see, it was the first screening day of Eclipse in SG while in Pinas, 29th of June. :) Late bloomer, Singapore! LOL

JustAcia : Affordable but good food

Last week (Wednesday, 23rd June) hubby and I + Hershey went for a date . We were suppose to eat at Subway, as we have agreed on before - from this blog entry but the plan has change when we were roaming around Downtown East - the mall is just few walks away from our block.

It was a last minute decision, Subway vs JustAcia and hubby finally decided to dine at JustAcia when we reached the place. This is my second time to eat there and Marvin's nth time. :D My first experience was very good so I don't have any problem with dining here again. Their menu includes both set and ala carte meals. What good about their set meals is that it comes with free flow drinks (hot coffee/cappucino/lemonade/icedtea/soda) and ice cream + it's affordable, I think price starts at S$6.90. If you choose ala carte, ofcourse it has big servings compared to the set meals but you have to top up S$2.50 for free flow drink+ice cream.

Like the first time, I again chose ramen + crispy chicken meal with kimchi! La-love!

Daddy ordered pork-katsu

The place is also kid friendly. They have playing area so Hershey can play while waiting for our food to be served. :) Just look at how happy she is...

Try, I assure you, worth the money! :)

Weekends, 19th & 20th June 2010

We went to ToysRUS (Toys Us, as how my daughter says it) last Saturday and bought some stuff for H. We bought her Crayola non toxic finger paints, Crayola Art smock - which we haven't used yet because we had a busy weekend, a kite, and 24-pcs MegaBlocks which she loves and I wonder why I haven't bought her this one sooner. Maybe because I thought she already has her set of fake legos which should be enough. LOL

So last Sunday, aside from going to church, we went for a Father's day BBQ party at Costa Sands together with our Filipino community churchmates. This is how we usually spend our time together outside church, we eat, be merry and exchange testimonies. :) We really can't get over it. There are just so many things to be thankful for in our lives - on our happy or even sad moments.

Some pictures with my husband, daughter, my brother (our pastor) and my niece together with their other
swimming buddies.

Hershey soooo happy! And dad is all smiles too on Father's day! With the goggles is my niece Nikki.

There's my brother holding H and our friend, Jenny.

Happy father's day again to all daddies! God bless you... ♥♥♥
